Originally, only the football team was called the Wolfpack, and that name almost retired after World War II. German U-Boat formations were known as “The Wolfpack,” and the university held a vote in 1946 on whether or not to distance itself from the nickname. Students voted strongly in favor of remaining the Wolfpack, and a year later, every athletic team officially adopted the nickname. Products are mocked up on a size S.
